Jason Mauk is the founder and president of Jason Mauk & Associates, a government and public relations firm.
He most recently served as chief of staff for the Ohio Senate, working in that capacity under the last three Senate presidents. During his tenure, he managed the chamber’s staff and operations, as well as advised Senate leadership on public policy, communications and strategic planning. He continues to oversee the Republican Senate Campaign Committee, where he has helped manage the election of every current member of the Senate’s majority party. Under his direction, Senate Republicans made history, winning the largest number of seats under the chamber’s current structure.
Prior to joining the Senate, he served as chief of staff and executive director of the Ohio Republican Party, where he managed one of the nation’s largest and most successful battleground state political organizations through multiple statewide and presidential elections. His accomplishments include a complete, historic sweep of every statewide office and the expansion of both state legislative and congressional majorities.
Jason also has worked in numerous communications roles in the public and private sectors, assisting executives with strategic message development, training law enforcement officials in crisis communications and serving as the lead spokesperson for statewide campaigns and public officials.
He began his professional career in journalism, covering politics as an award-winning radio and television news reporter and serving as chief political correspondent for the 24-hour Ohio News Network.
He currently resides in the Columbus, Ohio suburb of New Albany.
